Tottenham v Manchester United

“Champions Manchester United staged a magnificent comeback to overwhelm Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Spurs had been 3-0 up at half time after outplaying their opponents.”

But in the second half things changed and United turned the table upside down scoring 5 goals to finish the match Spurs 3-5 United

  • 3-1 Andy Cole (46)
  • 3-2 Laurent Blanc (58)
  • 3-3 Ruud van Nistelrooy (72)
  • 3-4 Juan Sebastián Verón (76)
  • 3-5 David Beckham (87)

We had an amazing run against spurs not losing for 26 consecutive matches until we lost 2-3 last september. It is important to get a positive result since City will be playing Fulham one day earlier so its either maintaining the 7 points gap or increasing that number inshallah :)

United will have 2 more matches in January v Fulham in FA cup then Southampton in the EPL. to join us watch Spurs v United with the MUSC please apply here

The Gulf Cup Story

I heard too many stories about the idea of the gulf cup. But here is the real story and how it began

In the late 60s Sir Stanley Rous visited Kuwait as part of his campaign and he gave the idea of hosting a cup competition for the gulf region and he also offered a sponsorship from a cigarette company. They were ready to take care of everything but the Kuwaiti FA refused to be sponsored by cigarette company since its not the proper way to develop the sport and youth in the region.

Later on Kuwait national team visited Bahrain to play friendly guided by the team manager AbdulAziz AL-Mukhled he carried the idea to the Bahraini FA they loved it and called for a meeting between 4 FA’s Bahrain, Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Ahmed AL-Sadoun represented the Kuwaiti side while the minister of interior represented the Bahraini side with 1 representative from each KSA and Qatar I don’t have their names at the moment.

They all agreed on the competition rules they all agreed on sponsoring the competition on their own (government wise) but the only problem was involving Qatar since their FA wasn’t official by FIFA. And finally they sent letter to FIFA and they agreed to let Qatar compete

in 1970 a new competition has been born and since then we have what’s it called The Gulf Cup

Irada Square

This is something i wrote back on the 22nd of sep. 2011

I’ve always believed that as long as i have Members of Parliament that represents me i won’t join any kind of gatherings (Tahalouf, Mangaf, Sabah AL-Nasser, AL-Safat Square, …etc) but after the latest bribes i can not see my country suffers and stand still.

What i saw yesterday was amazing. People that used to rubbish such act attended in first rows!! Why?? The answer is simple because we can’t take it anymore we’re fed up with our government since 2006 and we didn’t had any step forward. We used to lead and now we fail to follow. Our standings compared to fellow countries are decreasing we barely attract new investors! we barely build hospitals, schools, resident area’s and what’s the outcome? Overnight millionaires, locked in law’s, fake administrations based on wasta’s and indirect democracy hijacking.

Whats next? This is the time to create history this is the time to change this government and look forward. All what we’re looking for is “Leading Kuwait” just like the 50’s, 60’s and the 70’s. We want the life’s that our parents had!! better health care, better education and better daily basic’s.

Parliament members that sold their votes could listen to the highest bidder if we believe that the briber is from the inside what can insure us that they wont accept bribes from the outside?
